Extra day in Toulon

Captain’s Log, May 27th: Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have been unable to leave the port of Toulon, but that has given our passengers the unique opportunity for extra time in this lovely city. We have also been able to change our anchorage to be closer for the tenders, albeit that the view is not quite so pleasant as before.

The port authorities are to blame for this situation, as they have insisted that port fees have not been paid. However, they have been in touch with the owners in Negibi City, and it seems the matter has now been resolved, so we will sail tonight.

This does mean missing our stop in Nice, and some passengers are requesting compensation. However it is quite clear in our terms and conditions that in case of events like this, totally out of our control, there is no question of compensation.
